How do Textline’s pricing plans work?

Textline offers three pricing plans: Essentials, Pro, and Enterprise. The price of each plan is determined by included features, Agents, and message credits. Textline’s subscription plans do not include industry required registration fees.

How much does Textline cost?

Ultimately the cost of Textline comes down to your subscription plan, message credits used, phone number registration cost, and optional add-ons. Contact our sales team to get a personalized quote.

Do you charge for messaging?

A designated number of Included Message Credits come with each plan, but you can purchase Add-On Message Credits to supplement this quantity. You can purchase any amount of Add-On Message Credits for $0.03 each. Learn the ins and outs in this article.

What is one message credit worth?

One message credit equates to one SMS segment or a 160-character standard text message. MMS messages are three message credits on Textline. View message credit details here.

What happens if I use up my Included Message Credits?

Once your Included Message Credits are used up, Textline will use any Add-On Message Credits next. If those run out too, we’ll automatically switch to Backup Message Credits.

  • Add-On Message Credits cost $0.03 each and are purchased in advance.
  • Backup Message Credits cost $0.04 each and are Textline’s fallback method to ensure you can message without interruption. Backup Credits are automatically purchased if your account dips below your minimum credit threshold. Textline requires a minimum Backup Credit auto-purchase amount of 250 credits, but this designation can be increased as you see fit.

To avoid paying the higher rate for Backup Message Credits, we recommend purchasing enough Add-On Message Credits ahead of time. Keep in mind that Add-On Message Credits can only be purchased once per billing cycle.

How do you handle phone number registration costs?

You can choose to set up a toll-free number or a 10-digit long code on Textline. 10DLC numbers register with The Campaign Registry. You’ll see a $15 campaign fee on your bill each month if you use a 10DLC. At this time, toll-free numbers do not have a monthly registration fee.

Can I use my own number with Textline?

Yes. In most cases, you can use your own number with Textline. Please text our customer service number at (415)-849-4349 or email us to check if we can text-enable your number.

We can text-enable most landlines, but cell phone numbers ported to Textline will lose voice functionality and the ability to text from the phone’s native texting app.

Can I call people using my Textline number?

We don’t provide voice functionality for our Textline numbers; however, we can set up call forwarding for it. Read more about forwarding calls in this article.
